NAMI Family Support Group

Supporting someone living with a mental health condition can bring questions, uncertainty, and challenges that are difficult to navigate alone.

NAMI Family Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of people living with mental health conditions. The group offers a welcoming place to share experiences, learn from others, and find practical support from people who understand.

NAMI Family Support Group is led by trained facilitators who also have lived experience supporting a loved one with a mental health condition.

What to Expect

Each meeting provides an opportunity to:

  • Connect with others who have similar experiences
  • Share challenges and successes in a supportive setting
  • Learn from the experiences of other family members and caregivers
  • Gain practical ideas for coping and communication
  • Find encouragement and support without judgment

You do not need a referral, diagnosis, or NAMI membership to attend. There is no cost to participate, and you are welcome to join whether this is your first time seeking support or you have been supporting a loved one for many years.
